How was the issue?
You mean to tell me that Peter has had a Web Warrior dimensional watch THIS WHOLE TIME, and just never used it before?
Overall I'm glad the issue cuts right to the chase, he may not be an interesting character, but Morlun works great as a dangerous threat and I always forget how brutal he is seeing Peter get the crap beaten out of him.
It's kind of interesting that Spider-Geddon looks to be an inverse of how these big events comics normally play out; Peter and Morlun are looking to be contained mostly to the tie-in's while the main event is the rest of the Spider-Family having the combat the Inheritors.

Did it bother anyone else how badly Spidey did against Morlun in this issue? When they fought in Coming Home and the Other, Pete was able to dodge most of his attacks before attrition wore him down. Here, he literally jumps right into Morlun's punch. It would be nice if next issue he manages to beat him without resorting to a plot device like the last times they fought.
"So you've come to the end now alive but dead inside."
Indeed, again much like how Doomsday did in the 1990s. A concept like Morlun who is more a force of nature than a truly realized character should always be used very sparingly or said character will quickly become stale and unappealing (see the Star Trek Voyage effect on the Borg).

.... more proof that Otto Octavious is evil and does not deserve to be a spider-hero. He should be offered for free to the Inheritors.
