Adrienne is dead and was powerful enough to use her Psychometry to make GenX think they were the Hellions and experience their final days.
This was less about what Christian can do and more about what he was going through. In a way it was forcing Bobby to see how good he had it because it could've been a lot worse.
So Emma knew about Bobby all this time, she not so much of a jerk lol
If Emma would join Bobby I would keep buying
You mean Daken a character that had his own solo series and countless appearances through out the MU is more developed than Christian Frost; a supporting character in six issues of Emma's solo series 15 years (ish) years ago and not used until a single appearance in Iceman YESTERDAY is more developed...
I was trying to do too much and not doing any of it as well as I could. But I've had a change of mind... though not everyone shall enjoy it. I will.

I mean, she’s still murdered people/horses. (I know: she was very high at the time. I forgive her)
BTW if you want more Emma/Bobby stuff, he guests on Gen X 57 late in the run. There’s a school dance, so to avoid the pressure of the teens asking her why she isn’t going with Banshee (who is sometimes hot in Generation X and nowhere else) she forces Iceman to take her. Jay Faerber probably did not know he was gay, but it’s pretty interesting to read their interactions in that light. I’m not sure about their interactions over the next 20 years after that.
I actually love the fact Christian and Emma's powers are so identical. It just another way of showing how strong their bond is as siblings. I hope in an alternate universe both Emma and Christian are the leaders of The Hellfire Club
Yara Flor & Emma "Mama" Frost stan account
Not bad, I found some of the dialogue out of place, though I actually enjoyed Bobby's mind being the back draw of their reunion and reconciliation. However, I did feel a few issues of build up might have helped solidify the story in terms of the ending.
I like Emma and a potential relationship outside of Cyke, plus Bobby could use her honesty, I'd like to see more of Christian. I hope their fathers death is at least acknowledge moving forward.
Overall I liked this issue because of Emma and I like her working with the other X-men. I did find parts of it to be strange, but I support this book and I like Sina Grace's work overall. I really want to see Emma back with the X-men. She should be on an X-team.
Well that didn't appear to be what your original comment was. Christian is underdeveloped, but comparing that to Daken is like comparing Wolverines development to Anole's development.
I agree with this statement. This story could have been longer. But we know that these character will be reappearing later in the mini. Sina has mentioned he wanted to use Emma, and likely this storyline, in the first arc but wasn't given approval to use Emma. Given that this is a mini I don't think he was given the chance to give it more leg room.

Yeah this definitely could be longer. It could have been a 3-4 issue arc if Grace had room for it.
It has been a crazy busy week and this was the first opportunity I could get to finally read it. First things first!
Gorgeous issue. The layouts and ideas that Stockman had for Bobby's mindscape were breathtaking. The ice fish in the lake, Christian's thawing. Just wow.
The story itself was so dense and captivating that it is a pity it all had to be stuffed into a single issue. Speaking of...
Clearly you don't know how professions related to creative writing work. The writer, especially an up and coming one like Grace here, is not given much of a choice. There may not be a "later" to continue this in a significant manner. He had to either showcase everything in one single book or drop the story entirely and... with those options, I'm glad he went with the former. It is a situation I can relate to only too well. Nothing crass about it. He handled the subject with sensitivity, despite the little piece of real estate that was afforded him to explore it.
If you wanna blame anyone, blame Marvel for giving only 5 issues to this book while Hacky Hackathon "Event" Of the Month will get some 250 tie-in issues.

If he didn't have the time to explore these ideas well, he shouldn't have done it at all. That's why I call it a crass decision.
Let the flames destroy all but that which is pure and true!
