Assuming that they can keep Shadow from killing them out of hand in a fit of chuuni pique, Zero and his inner circle and the Seven Shades would probably get along extremely well (even without taking Geass into account) and would be able to provide invaluable assistance to one another, especially once the Shades realize that Zero is more or less exactly the same type of person that they believe Shadow is.

And after the approximately 15 minutes it will probably take him and maybe C.C. to realize what kind of person Shadow *actually* is, Lelouch Lamperouge can have a long chat with Cid Kagenoh and explain to him that his organization isn't just a bunch of his friends playing an elaborate game of make believe to humor him, though that might actually require the use of Geass.
