Anyway, one crossover that could be interesting, and it has quite a few fanfics of it already, is Halo and RWBY.
I also came across one some time ago where it takes place with Chief shortly after one of his early missions, meaning he's in his mid-teens (but still huge), and the UNSC discover Remnant and its people. Chief meets team RWBY (season 1), and finally meets peers that are not Spartans. Alas, the author stopped working on it, but an interesting setting nonetheless.
Another has the UNSC come into contact with Remnant, they kind of dance around one another, the UNSC sends scouts, including Spartans (well into the Human-Covenant war), the scouts are NOT to be hostile, and many scouts end up helping various settlements with Grimm attacks. This one though it has cameos by Chief and Blue Team, is more about navigating the political mindsets of multiple factions, and Sgt. Johnson being the main mediator with the Remnant representatives. It has some light moments, but also shows the horror of the Human-Covenant War on several occasions. As well as the ever present threat of Salem on Remnant.
There's honestly a lot of potential with a true crossover.
