Nah. I love the black and white as I still miss seeing Spider-Man in it.

Generally speaking, a lot of the characters that came to greater prominence (or were created) in the 90s are not only underused and underappreciated, they are very much mistreated in many cases by Marvel, the leadership of which seems to regard that period overall as a regrettable bit of drunken carousing that they would like everyone to forget. Were there missteps in the 90s? Yes, there were, but near-bankruptcy aside, not that many more than any other decade, and there were a lot of great concepts and characters that deserved more respect than they got, Julia among them.

: puts tin foil hat: Anya will become the new Madame Web after Spider-Geddon, so Julia gets her costume back.

That could work. That could work very well, actually. If Jessica's gonna be in a mostly black (with some red) suit, Julia can wear the mostly red suit.

This is where the Toxin Symbiote comes in as the custom and Julia would work well together....

I love Julia so much and have been disappointed that she's been relegated to the sidelines. She should have much more prominence in the MU. She's complex and has great history with various corners of the universe - Avengers, Freedom Force, X-Men, Spidey, etc. The writers need to utilize her much more than just a Madame Web.

Huh, I always assumed her real name would've been revealed as soon as she appeared somewhere else after Secret Wars. And this handbook is about two years after her debut.

Well there was later her entry from The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe Master Edition Vol. 1 No. 11 (October 1991):
