Older Iceman Costume Question

Hey, I'm a high school teacher, and one of our dress-up days for homecoming week is Marvel Monday. I want to go as a gay superhero bc I'm gay, and my immediate thought was Iceman. I came across this costume online, and I was wondering if anyone was familiar with the storyline that this look came from; I want to be able to justify it instead of just saying, "Oh, it was one of his many costumes at some point."

I'm pretty sure that was during his X-Factor era and .....at least from what I know... not one of his more remembered or best costumes. Not for nothing that also doesn't seem that comfortable either.

Just my opinion if you are really looking to go as Iceman maybe try this:




Again, this may or may not be his most popular costume but it will be easy to pull off while still maintaining the theme. It also saves you junk from dangling out in front of your friends as a bonus lol.

But if that's the costume you want then yeah he has worn that before.
