    it won't happen until it happens, but at least the special effects technology will continue to advance while the Sub Mariner rights are in limbo. especially after the aquaman movie comes out, there's no excuse not to get it right on the Marvel side.

    It's also possible that if they wait long enough, they can get the rights back for cheap. It's not like they are starved for IP to use until that happens and desperate to spend money they don't need to.
    IT took 70 years for Disny to get Oswald the rabbit back what is the hurry.
