so apparently they changed the ending/final act.
It was supposed to take place in space but looks like it takes place on earth, probably the trailer scene when they are all imprisoned on that vehicle.
Also, they redid the special effects to make her less fiery.
This might be a kneejerk reaction to Captain Marvel as they didn't want to copy that
The J-man
I dunno. I really hope there are people that get enjoyment from this, but every poster, every still, every trailer, just screams B movie.
There's no way this "conclusion" will top the other big "conclusion" this year for me, but I do hope I like it.
I'm not really going to sweat it if it don't, though. I love the X-Men as a comic book franchise, and am sad that I don't like all of it's movies, so I'm just hoping I can at least say "Meh, okay" in response to DP.

That scene appears to me Nightcrawler just stabbed a dude in the throat. Self mutilation aside I thought they were gonna more for the comicbook version of Nightcrawler after his appearance in Apocalypse. But the moment you got Nightcrawler stabbing dudes in the throat u lose me. I mean hes so religious that he cuts himself for sinning but then he will just stab people in the throat ? Iono maybe in context that scene wont be so bad and if it's anything like X2 atelast the action scene will look cool. But yea cant wait till Marvel gets they're hand back on Nightcrawler.
Though who knows maybe that guy doesn't die or they develop his character in a way that worth deviating from the comics so drastically. I'm all for changing stuff if it works.
I'm probaly watching this first Tuesday after this comes out. Iono I got AmC A list so I get 3 movies a week I might see if opening weekend if it's not crowded.

Anyone else think they're going to make the Chastain character a figment of Jean's imagination? I'm getting major fight club vibes off the trailer. Not as good obviously, but like a knock off version.
