I am not a big fan of Daniel , considering some big artists like Fabok had done a better job in drawing Batman but his written work and art is way better than King's ,
Honestly Beast was way better in All Star Batman than how he is been characterized by King

After this issue I am officially dropping Batman, I couldn't tell you the last time I dropped Batman.
I can't do it anymore, this issue was a joke and this arc was an embarrassing.
Tony Daniel can still kill it on art though.

Didn't like this arc and this conclusion was boring. This is the first time I feel that about King's work on batman.

This was very pointless and boring arc. The weakest arc along with the booster arc in this run so far.
King's run has been very hit and miss so far, but I'm willing to see what he will do with Penguin next issue.

So I'm gonna take a guess that the whole issue is spent on the fight, with lots of splash pages from Daniel, interspersed with the fable, and no any real mention on how Dick recovered.

More or less. I like Daniel's art, but fight scenes are def not his thing. They look stiff and are not very dynamic imo. To be fair, it looked better here than his usual fight scenes.
But otherwise, not much happened here. Hopefully this arc will prove important later on.
