That! plus the exposition overload from the Detective, good lord. To the surprise of no one, this feels rushed. I wonder if it's like that for the whole issue or if Lobdell and apparently Nicieza too, (nice surprise), wanted to quickly steamroll through the background of the story to get to the meat of this tale, if there is one.
Art's nice though, surprised to see not only Brown but Moore is on for this week, could have sworn it was Mooneyham.

Yeah, the dialogue and exposition was a bit much. Guess you have to expect that from Lobdell though.

So I guess this new detective character is going to become the new Nightwing and is going to die or mess up and force Dick/Ric to become a hero again? The fact that he is a detective makes me think they might set up Dick becoming a cop again after this, especially if this detective dies.

Actually I kinda like the idea of Dick going back to police work, at least for the time being.
