    Thoughts:

    - Babs involved with politics again should be fun. With that in mind I'm kind of expecting the "old flame" to be a Rebirthed Jason Bard considering it deals with Batgirl and politics.

    - How would King write Constantine? Just where his only line is "Bollocks" ?

    - I guess that confirms Penguin survives King's arc.

    - So Batman's allies, mentors, and even estranged enemies are getting targetted by a villain. I wonder how Ducard feels about what happened to his son...

    - Morbid as it is, I kind of hope Harley actually did kill somebody, even if I know it won't happen (because she's got to be a "comedic anti-hero" now).

This is why double shipping and having a big run sucks. Filler filler filler.

What is King's ratio of filler?

I'm only definitely getting Outsiders #2. I might pick up some others, depending.

I think it's really hard telling what stuff King's done that is filler, since King always tends to recontextualize his earlier stuff. So that weird "Secret Origin of Bruce Wayne" issue is getting a sequel, meaning it's much less filler. The Brave and the Mold doesn't really connect to a lot right now plotwise, but it's definitely linked to the fatherhood themes that are going on right now.

Unless you're talking about quality, in which case, you'd have to make a case for what's good and bad.

IIRC wasn't Jason Bard reintroduced as a villain in Batman Eternal? Or is that no longer canon?

And I don't know if the Jason Bard in Batman Eternal was really a "villain"; I think he was more heavily misguided than an out-and-out villain.
