"This is Herbert-5741," he says. "He's a mutant of his species: he's not a psychopath, and has no intrinsic drive to exterminate anyone. In fact, he wants to have a friend. So I told him he can come live with you."

White Robe disappears. The Dalek remains.

"I am Herbert-5741," he says. "But you can call me Herbie."

So you now have a Dalek as your roommate.

What now?

As long no deaths occur, will treat Herbie with as much grace, kindness, honesty and compassion as any other being despite not being of my race.

Though my other room mate may, prove to be a drunk abusive fool at times.

I see that as conflict. It I do see me and Herbie getting along fine.
