The stakes get higher in this issue as an amped up Diana uses her fraction of Hecate's power to defent Nanda Parbat from a possessed Manitou Dawn.
Since we are nowhere near the end of the story yet, things go predictably pear shaped, with Diana ending the issue apparently in full "Locutus of Borg" mode and Hecate ordering her to kill Zatanna and Constantine.
Another interesting thing is while possessed on the last panel she has the lasso wrapped around her arm. So either she is duping Hecate or the lasso itself is overwhelmed by the Witch Godess' power.
Diana herself does not get a lot of panel time this issue - its mostly Z and the others trying to save the monks while Hecate and the goddess of N-Parbat argue - but at least she remains an integral part of the story.
I haven't checked out the WW #57 preview yet, but I am hoping we don't get a repeat of Blackest Night and Batgod kissing her out of her possession...
