    Congratulations to Kai "the spy" for a cover which represented a tale which had an enormous effect on many of us. It's a good thing that we're capable of appreciating a wider variety of styles and books for this contest. Well done, Kai. Also, I did look for this (or anything Great Pumpkin related) but you were successful in finding it.

    As to what the captain has learned this week, he has been aware that the decorative aspects of Halloween have been strong for a while. We see the holiday's celebration is various ways through many forms of pop culture and real life. As always, the variety of covers entered amazes me as to how widespread the concept is. A truly fun contest this week.

    And thanks to Ed2962 for the vote. I am reminded of a song title and since it was sung by the Zombies, it should be Halloween related, right?



    Or not. Still I can rationalize that they were all dressed as sexy sixties women.

    Congratulations to Kai the spy I think a lot of us look back to our childhood at both Christmas time and Halloween. And that cover reminds me of the years of watching both Peanuts cartoons.
