or when Wolverine put his costume together from rags that the other X-men had thrown away?



Or how about the new Young and Cool Dr. Strange?

That Ghost Rider new costume was in the stories before the Ghost Rider comic book got cancelled i think.

That Wolverine costume was just way silly.
And i had never ever seen that Doctor Strange version,talk about some bad design with that version.

Correct about GR's new costume. But before cancellation, Ghost Rider did return to his tried & true chain/leather look which was certainly most agreeable for me. So much so, I breathed a sigh of relief.

To be fair, these Kitty costumes were SUPPOSED to be awful, it was a story point that she kept making hideous costumes that she thought were great. Unlike some others in this thread which were designed with every intention of looking good but they failed horribly (though the 90s costumes may have seemed good at the time to at least some people, until people came to their senses)

OMG, that Ghost Rider costume was hideous. What the Hell was Marvel thinking? Then again, that was the time Marvel started making pretty outrageous decisions to their characters.

Someone posted the graduation costumes but, imo, this is far and away the worst Daniel Moonstar costume.

In total agreement with you there. I know it's not easy to come up with good designs -- and there's no accounting for taste -- but some of these are really, really bad.

This thread got me thinking - back in 1993 there was an issue of X-Force that took place just after X-Cutioner's song. Cannonball and Prof X are having a squabble about the morality of their actions and the best way forward. The other half of the comic is given over to Boom Boom using (yes really) a Shi'ar Costume Generation Machine to give everyone in X-Force a makeover.

Cannonball's is mainly zips. Hers is pouches everywhere. Feral's defies logic and gravity. The others are just what the 90s did.

Anyone else notice that when women in comics go evil, they lose clothes while men who go evil gain clothes?
