Yes, it’s been worked out.

She’ll be appearing in issue 3 or 4 of Champions next year.

That wasn't proof of anything - if it is her, wouldn't it have made more sense for Zub not to publish the question asking about her on his AMA?

I'm felling Pixie for whatever reason.

She's prominent on Uncanny X-Men Disassembled, so I could see her being on a new X team book launching in February or March. That would rule her out, I suspect.

There was a previous question on Zub's Tumblr asking about Gabby, and he said he'd thought about it. Taylor, on Twitter, then said he should. She's definitely a possibility. And yes, good point about Surge, Zub has mentioned her before as well.

I know it's unlikely, but I would really like to see Dust get some exposure.

However, I agree with most. Pixie, Surge and Gabby are most likely of candidates.

That's someone's question. His response, found at the Tumblr post he linked to was "I've thought about it". So it proves nothing.

Whoever among them isn't used in Champions could easily be a new Generation X team (if the book returns, it needs to alter it's roster, as Quentin Quire is now a West Coast Avenger).
