I want to say she was one of the few who lived. Pretty sure that the remnants of the Omega Gang that weren't Quire or Glob were offed. I want to say that Stacy X was, as well, and was brought back with zero explanation.

The writers want to make their own stamp on the franchise, which to them, means creating someone new, not using someone they feel as being old. You are either iconic, an editorial darling, the writer's new creation, or nobody.
