It's not like the sample size is huge.

With the two stand alone films by Disney, the Clone Wars film and the two Ewok movies we're at 13 films which isn't insubstantial.

I don't count those, most people count them as a joke.

What you decide to count or not is irrelevant. Those movies exist, period.

CW was just a cash grab with stitched together episodes.

The Ewoks films are nothing like the others.

Even without those there are still 10 films.

The Ewok movies were TV specials, though. Not sure they really "count" the way the theatrical adventures do, if that makes any sense.

I think they were shown theatrically overseas. They're also one of the few live-action Star Wars productions that are no longer considered 'canon' along with the holiday special I think.

As far as i am concerned they don't count. They are nothing like New Hope or ROTS.

Yeah, in a way they kind of feel a bit more like Willow and Labyrinth which George had a part in the 80's.

The witch in the second movie was later encorporated into the old EU in a retcon as a nightsister, interestingly enough, before Clone Wars and Disney made them sort of more Darth Maulish.

Yeah, although that Shadows of Endor graphic novel did give the witch character a minor role and gave her a minor redesign to look more like the Clone Wars Nightsisters, as well as using the Clone Wars Nightsisters' style of magic, like the green mist stuff.

As I recall, post-Clone Wars, the idea in Legends was that the CGI Nightsisters were one faction and that the human Nightsisters we'd seen before and after in other Legends stuff were other tribes that coexisted and survived long after the prequel era. The Disney reboot just streamlined it to where the Clone Wars Nigthsisters were the only ones around.

Apparently Red Robe Jaldari has never seen anyone do or can't imagine a top 10 ranked in order of favorites list. So Robotman's assertion confuses him.
This is how they works RRJ, they are pretty common:

Agree! I hope they get Tudyk to reprise K2
Also the REBEL SPY aspect and set-up is really intriguing, and sets up allot of great potential for episodes.

Poster Bor Mullet on the JediCouncilForums offered a great list of the type of potential episodes "missions" they could explore:

    1. Secure the support of a criminal cartel (the Hutts, perhaps?) for a specific job
    2. Gather information on a mysterious dark-cloaked and masked enforcer of the Emperor
    3. A rare opportunity to assassinate the Emperor which ignites a fierce debate among the militant and less-military elements of the Rebel Alliance
    4. A job with Saw Gerrera and his partisans that goes wrong and leads to the Rebellion's break with him
    5. Infiltrate a high-level gathering of Imperials on a Core World (Coruscant, etc). Lots of Bond-style antics from Cassian.
    6. Gather intelligence about a galactic-scale kyber mining operation on a number of remote worlds
    7. Work with Enfys Nest and her pirates to steal and/or blow up some critical fuel and food sources (perhaps on an industrial planet/ system for the former, and an industrial-scale agricultural system/ planet for the latter)
    8. Locate a Jedi in-hiding and escort her or him to safety (the mission goes wrong)
    9. Support a local Rebellion (ala Ryloth), without inviting the full wrath of the Empire on that planet or system
    10. Investigate and identify a new planetary system to house Rebel Alliance HQ, after a security breach renders Dantooine too vulnerable to discovery by the Empire

Anyone else want to play this game?

To add some further spice to this mission, Cassian encounters and just manages to shut down an Imperial droid; which is taken back to the Rebellion and reprogrammed to become Cassian's faithful companion.
    12. A reconnaissance mission to a planet that is being stripped and decimated of its resources - and the information gathered from here is used to help galvanise support for the Rebellion where it pulls at the heart strings of planets and leads them to think that there planet could be next. Again to add some further spice, you could have a high ranking Rebel leader who is secretly playing on both sides of the fence - because the leader benefits in some way from the plundering of these resources. Cassian then has to make the choice in assassinating this leader and having to explains his reasons to Rebel High Command.
    13. A mission to attack an Imperial arms and ordnance depot to try and secure heavier weapons and munitions for the Rebellion.
These are some great off-the-cuff ideas, and I can see how these type of missions would be a terrific vehicle for the show, exploring the time period.

Also would love to see Jimmy Smits reprising his Role as Bail Organa, Genevieve O'Reilly as Mon Mothma, as well as Alistair Petrie as General Draven, pushing Cassian to darker more questionable missions, to where he's at the no turning back point we meet him in R1.

I think I'm more excited for this show than The Mandalorian. Not that that show doesn't excite me either, but I just really liked the cast of Rogue One, so any media that expands on them is a plus for me.

    "You're dead!"- Soldier
"You first"- Lightning, Final Fantasy XIII

"Yes, boo, cause this is Calvin Klein and I don't play that ****" - Tanisha
