    Issue #4 actually ROSE in the rankings to Number 14! She finished ahead of Superman in October.

    I sort of don't care about the ranking as much as I do about the number of copies sold. That to me is a really important indicator as well as to how it's doing.

    The newest Detective Comics arc return to solo Batman, so people who's been reading for the family members maybe jumping ship.

    Well, comparing Catwoman and Detective Comics for those three months,
    * Sept. 2018 = 24th - Catwoman #3 - 55,068 copies
    27th - Detective Comics #988 - 51,405 copies
    28th - Detective Comics #989 - 50,479 copies
    * Aug. 2018 = 15th - Catwoman #2 - 64,721 copies
    22nd - Detective Comics #986 - 53,346 copies
    24th - Detective Comics #987 - 51,362 copies
    * July 2018 = 6th - Catwoman #1 - 121,056 copies
    28th - Detective Comics #984 - 51,879 copies
    29th - Detective Comics #985 - 51,750 copies

    And, by the way, Detective Comics then had both the end of the Bryan Hill-written Outsiders arc and the start of the James Robinson-written Two-Face arc.

    That's awesome! Issue 4 was really good, being an emotional, reflective, and revealing story. I'm proud of Joelle Jones. She's doing good work on this series with the writing, pencilling, and inking. She's done her research and clearly loves Catwoman. But she's not giving Selina an easy ride as she humanizes her and displays her weaknesses.

    Still, outselling/being ordered more than Superman is a pretty big deal, especially when Superman is being written by Bendis and is on the same numbered issue as Catwoman.

    Well, don't forget that according to the link in the OP's message, for September:
    * 16th = SUPERMAN #3
    * 22nd = ACTION COMICS #1003
    * 24th =CATWOMAN #3

    As for October,
    * 14th = CATWOMAN #4
    * 15th = SUPERMAN #4
    * 19th = ACTION COMICS #1004

    Again, we don't know how big a difference there was between 14th and 15th place, or what he month-to-month differences were for each title. So that's why I want to see the number of copies that were ordered from Diamond for each comic book.

    It's really impressing and a great sign for the book.

    Could it be because of the foil cover?

    I don't think you realize how big Joelle Jones's popularity is.
