So you can become normal Pokemon Trainers in this universe? We do briefly see Charizard in an arena.
Is that Pikachu's normal voice (Ikue Ohtani) for the "Pika Pika" scene? It sounds a little different.

Yes, that's Ikue Ohtani. I imagine The Pokémon Company wanted her involved in some capacity.
