It breaks my heart I never got the honour of meeting the man, but he really was one of my heroes for creating arguably my favourite hero. The world won’t be as cheery and awesome without old Stan.

He may have contributed more to the culture than any writer from the 20th Century.

It was one of the best honors of my lifetime to be able to meet him, and tell him what his work meant to me at a comic con a decade back.

    RIP.
    Sincerely,
    Thomas Mets

Was already feeling very bummed out. Now feeling even worse upon realizing that we have indeed lost both Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. RIP Stan and once again Ditko.

I'm going to borrow the words of Dr.Hiluluk: "Hey... When do you think a person dies? When a bullet from a pistol pierces his heart? No... When he's attacked by an incurable disease? No... When he eats a deadly poisonous mushroom soup? No! A man dies when people forget him.."
Therefore Stan the Man will never be forgotten because his work lives on and will continue to inspire and give hope to a multitude of individuals worldwide and for the future. Thank you, Stan, especially for helping to create my favorite superhero Spiderman

Im crying right now. Like when Ditko passed. I cant find words great enough to explain how much he meant to me as a life long Spider-Man fan. Just think about how different the world would be without the Hulk, Spider-Man, X-Men, Iron Man, Fantastic Four, Ant-Man, Dr. Strange, Dare Devil, Thor, or The Avengers. He had a hand along with Jack and Steve in litterly impacting the whole world. Stan Lee thank you for everything you did, making me a true believer, and I hope now you can rest in peace with your wife.
