Sincerely,

Me, Stan Lee and the comic rack at the TG&Y in the small town in California where I grew up were well-acquainted. Here was one of the first adults I really felt “got me.” Farewell and excelsior, Stan the Man.
Every day is a gift, not a given right.
It's hard to imagine what a big deal this was at the time; I am one of the older posters on this board and even I was just a small child during this time so I had no idea that it was going on. Only later, when I was old enough to read comics and noticed those issues did not have the CCA seal, did I question and find out the back story. It took real balls and a strong sense of conviction for Stan to do this at the time, one more reason he was/is a the real deal. There won't be another.
