Sad to hear Stan The Man Lee had died. Thanks for creating a lot of my favourite characters, like Iron man, Scarlet Witch, Doc Ock, Magneto and so much more. Excelsior!

Stan "The Man" Lee. Yes, and continues to be. So many creations to be thankful for. Thank you, Stan. 'Nuff said.

    Rest in Peace, Stan Lee.

You were vital to the creation of not just comic books, not just superheroes, but pop culture as we know it.

You left the world a far more colorful place than you found it.

No one who created such a legacy can ever truly be gone.

I thought I'd be much sadder when this day actually came but given his age, his failing health, the fact that he surely longed to be with his wife again, and the knowledge that he was fully appreciated and loved by legions of fans makes it easier to deal with.

That said, it's still a heartbreaker. My life would be much lesser without his imagination and influence. RIP, Stan.

Well, I can't be shocked; he was 95, but I am deeply saddened. I still get chills of delight thinking back on some of his best work.

Even though it's not considered his best work, I'm so greatful that one of the first titles i ever picked up monthly was ravage 2099.

I might have been one of the last generation to be able to pick up a new Stan Lee comic, ever month.

How lucky was I? How spoilt????

RIP Stan Lee and thank you for blowing my mind multiple times back when I was a kid.

The Lee/Kirby FF run is what got me hooked on comics, and now both of those legends are gone.

Feels like the world lost its honorary grandpa, sitting in his rocker telling outrageous stories to wide-eyed kids.

At 95 he lived full to bursting life and left an impact that I don't think can ever be fully appreciated.

RIP Stan. Fantastic Four #93 with the Thing on the cover was the first comic I remember buying, and from way back then when I was just ten years old, I've had a love of comics that's lasted to this day.
