    R.I.P Stan Lee.
I remember my first time seeing and hearing his voice in the Spider-Man 90s series when he made a cameo in the "Spider Wars Part 2: Farewell, Spider-Man" episode. All of his cameos in every Marvel show he has ever been in was absolutely amazing and memorable.

That episode was my very first exposure to the guy as well.

NO words, but just sadness. Nuff said.

Well, I finished re-watching Spider-Man 2002 in commemoration to Stan Lee a little while ago.

For me, it still holds up in the sense that I feel the same way about it now as I did 16 years ago. The good parts are still good; the cheesy parts are still cheesy (Gobby's Big Bad Beetleborgs costume); and the chemistry among the 3 leads (Tobey, Kirsten, James) is still there. The digi-double of Spider-Man is a little easier to spot now, but in general, the special effects still work. Spider-Man has never been my favorite Marvel movie, but it does star Stan's signature character and best creation, so I'm glad the movie was a big hit and is generally an enjoyable watch.

Have there been any tweets from Marvel and comics pros regarding this? If so, can someone post links & pics?

Incredibly sad to hear this. I can’t put into words what his creations have meant to me. Thank you Stan for not only creating two of my favorite superheroes in Daredevil and Spider-Man, but also being a real life superhero to us all!

Happy that he had the life he did. So glad he had a chance to see what Marvel and his characters have accomplished. Lastly, thank you Mr. Lee for thousands upon thousands of hours of enjoyment for the whole of my life.
Years before Kal-El ever landed from Space; tales were told of the ultimate warrior/hero; Conan the Barbarian!
