I've been expecting this day for a while. I regret that I never got the chance to meet him, but at 95 you couldn't say he lived a small life and he left a legacy with more impact than anyone could hope for.

It's impressive that he lasted as long as he did. And as the guy who created not only my favourite superhero franchise, but a bunch of my other favourite superheroes outside of the X-Men ... I don't really have words.
I'll definitely miss his cameos in Marvel movies.

Supposedly he filmed quite a few in a row, in anticipation that he wouldn't be around forever. I wonder how many more films he will appear in. Too bad he didn't make it to see the MCU X-Men.
