rest in peace Stan
I've been seeing tributes with his cameos. I totally forgot he was in Spiderman 3 but in hindsight that might have been his best line:

When I read this news this morning it simply broke my heart. Godspeed Stan, I am and always will be a true believer.
He created a whole universe for generations of people’s dreams...He will not leave this world, for his legacy will live forever.
"He did it. Summers did it."
"I don't understand...What exactly did Cyclops do?"
"He kept his people alive."
Goodbye to an absolute legend. Gone but never forgotten.
Everything that has been said about this has been said for me. There is nothing I can add to this.
I come when there's something to take but I never give anything back.
I know what you want. But it is not here. It's gone and it will never ever come again...
Oh, my god, I didn' know until just now.
RIP Mister Lee
and Thank you, thank you very much.
I was literally in tears at the news. Stan Lee helped create the world I've found joy in for most of my life.
I love the cameo in X-Men #98 where the original creators of the franchise, Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, pop up to sort of pass the torch to the new team. Claremont and Cockrum and Wein created something new from what Lee and Kirby started but they knew who it started with.
RIP Stan Lee, the man who help to shape so many lives
If Stan only had given his awesome creativity, enthusiasm and eagerness to us, that'd have been more than enough. All of this aside, though, he still gave us so much more.
Nuff' said.
The fact that Stan was preaching this message all the way back in the late 60s makes what he achieved all the more remarkable. So much of what he did with X-men, Spider-Man, and Avengers resonates now as much as it did then. It's an amazing achievement. He will be missed dearly.
