Very sad. I just wrote an obituary for him for the news organization I work for. He always seemed so happy every time he appeared for anything.

Thank you for your creations, Stan. You inspired and entertained us all. Thanks to comics I found a love for superhero stories and for art. You gave us a great gift and you will be missed but certainly will not ever be forgotten. Rest in peace.
The next Marvel movie without a cameo from you will hit hard.

Stan Lee hand a hand in co-creating many things I have appreciated in my life. The X-Men would be one of the biggest. He'll certainly be missed.

The agreement also provides Disney with the opportunity to reunite the X-MEN with the Marvel family under one roof and create richer, more complex worlds of inter-related characters and stories that audiences have shown they love. It only makes sense for Marvel to be supervised by one entity. There shouldn't be two Marvels.
