Default Stan the Man is gone

Stan Lee has died at 95

"Stan Lee helped usher comics out of a dark age in the 1960s by co-creating morally complex heroes, including the self-doubting Spider-Man, the bickering Fantastic Four, the swaggering Iron Man and the raging Incredible Hulk. His name became synonymous with Marvel Comics."

As influential as Stan was in bringing back comics, he was at least as influential inn driving pop culture in television and movies, yet all from the 32 pages of four color comics he produced without end. His story-telling, combined with monuments of comics Dirko Kirby Romita and so many others lended themselves naturally to live action and cartoons in a way no others did, mostly because nobody else drew action and movment with such power and dynamics on the page. At the same time, no one else was telling stories of heroes conflicted with the problems that plague us all, transferring perfectly to the big screen.

It was a long time for Hollywood to catch on, and longer for effects to catch up with the magic Stan instilled of all of his readers for decades. But he did it all, and we will forever be invented to him for that.
