Last year, Logan Howlett made a surprise return to the Marvel Universe, holding an Infinity Stone in the pages of MARVEL LEGACY #1...

And next February, the cosmic mystery that started there will be unraveled in the all-new limited series WOLVERINE: INFINITY WATCH!

Writer Gerry Duggan and artist Andy MacDonald present the the answers you seek as Logan ventures out alongside everyone’s favorite god of lies and stories, Loki Laufeyson!

What does it all mean? Duggan teases what to expect with one simple line:

this idea is all over the place. marvel needs to figure out what they are doing with logan. is he going cosmic or not. hes with the infinity stone then hes not. then he has hot claws and coming back then hes in the infinity watch what order is all this crap.

I'm sure they know exactly what they're doing and where Logan is going. It's just that we don't yet because we haven't read the stories. How Return and Infinity Wars ties in will be clear - one would hope - when the stories are actually done. All I know for sure is that I'm stoked for Duggan to be writing Wolverine.

Im surprised! I thought Duggan was leaving the cosmic side of things after Infinity Wars. I love his work so I'll keep an open mind, but I really wish Logan's return wasn't all over the place.

This concept sounds stupid. Bring back Logan as a supporting character in Uncanny. Let him have a solo. Heck even put him on an Avengers team. No reason for him to mess around on a cosmic level.

I'll wait and read the story and then decide whether I like it or not. A lot of stories "sound stupid" until you've actually read them and understand that it's all in the execution.
