And then they took their help to conquer Athens lmao. So much for "freedom" (more helots /slaves fought at Thermopylae than actual Spartans). You've got to love the Greek myth. Herodotus certainly was the "Father of propaganda" if nothing else
Anyway I think its at least a close run thing with all of these heroes. Like even going by a rough estimate of 40 Persians being taken out for every hero (Legolas/ Gimli contest) and modern sources putting the numbers close to 100,000; there's a decent chance that even the non "superpowered" versions of these characters, who are generally all exceptional warriors, could be enough
