I think the Batsuit provides too much protection right? I don't think Matt has enough strength to damage Batman unless he goes for the unprotected mouth part.

Actually, no. The only confirmed protection on TDKR Batman's suit is the ballistic protection under the chest symbol.

Not that it matters much, since he is stronger (breaking the rifle with his bare hands), not that much slower (I remember some good aim-dodging feats), and more skilled (knows his pressure points) than Matty.

That particular Batman had pretty ridiculous old man strength iirc. Like shatter people's bones in single strikes, charge /through/ walls and one hand hoist full grown men like babies strength.
