Comics so CRAPPY you threw them in the trash?

I was at my local comic store's bargain bin where they had recent issue of the new Crossed series by Avatar. It was a sequel of sorts to the issues Alan Moore did. They haven't made any new issues of this series in a few years but I guess the TPB of Alan's run must have sold well enough for them to try again.

It was the usual gore-porn I've since outgrown that gets off on its own violence. I haven't had much luck selling the other issues I bought that Garth Ennis and Simon Spurrier wrote and the sexualised violence makes it inappropriate to donate to a thrift store so I might just throw this one in the recycle bin.

What Crappy comics did YOU, of sound mind and body, throw out, tear up etc.?

Back in the early 90s, I had several subscriptions. For some reason, they mailed me a copy of some horrible looking comic called NFL SuperPro #1. The concept seem so stupid and I absolutely did not want it in my house, so I tossed it in the trash.

(thanks!) Spider-man : reign was so "grim n' gritty" but mostly sh*tty" I threw that in the recycles as well. It didn't even have any decent ads I could cut up for a collage!

The first DeFalco/Frenz issue of Thor after the great Walt Simonson left the book. It looked and read like a warmed-over Lee/Kirby pastiche; hardly worthy of following the greatest run in the book's history.

Some hacked-out fill-in issue of Fantastic Four in the late-ish 80s. Written by Danny Fingeroth, drawn by some hack I can't even remember.

The first two issues of City (Shitty) Of Silence, by Warren Ellis and an artist. When Ellis is good he's one of the best. When he's bad he's unreadable.

No matter how bad a comic book is, I would never throw it away or recycle it.
The worse I would consider is just passing it on to somebody else or maybe use it for something art-related. (Unless, of course, my cat peed on it or something.)

I remember buying the next issue after Simonson's run was over and seeing the writer spend the first issue undoing everything Simonson had just done starting with the obvious visual aspect of changing him back to looking like the same old Hollywood Thor. Granted this is common. A new writer has his own story to tell and, rather than deal with what just happened, just ignores it. But I stopped reading it after that first issue.

A similar example, though nowhere as bad, was a storyline (don't remember who wrote it) that I personally considered one of the best runs ever on the Fantastic Four, a run that renewed my interest in it. Doctor Doom, having made deals with demons, is finally defeated in such a way that, if he comes back, it won't be for a long time and Reed Richards makes sure that, when he does come back, he won't be ruling a country or have any resources. I mean, WOW, something actually changed, not just the same old situation over and over. Doom was gone, etc.

Next issue, JMS, a writer I usually like, comes in and he has a story to tell that requires Dr. Doom so he brings him back, has him conquer Latveria and take it back and POOF same old boring situation that had existed for decades. YAWN! I stopped reading.

Years later, I did read the run and it too was one of the best runs they ever had in the FF but the timing of completely undoing the previous run that was also one of the greatest was horrible. They should have kept Doom gone for a few years.

I remember the DeFalco/Frenz takeover as well. I had loved the majesty of Simonson/Buscema (especially how glorious Thor looked when he flew off after breaking Loki's arm) and was less than wowed by the new take, which not only lacked grandeur but also energy. Nonetheless, I kept reading it for years.
