    Some fun casting:

Love it ^, Salma Hayek would be great as the villain, further I'd take her presence back to Ted Garret's time, a sorcerous implement of the Reach. she embodies a manifestation of these ancient Lady-Death deities (including Mictecacihuatl, Nephthys, Kali, Izanami, Lady Styx, and others) that keep recurring among the ancient temples along with images foretelling of the beetle-scarab protector, that Garret encounters.
Slowly driving him mad(or so everyone believes), what he is really doing is uncovering an ancient omen and warning about her, all of which he leaves in his cryptic journals:

Until she re-manifests as Amparo Cardenas in Kord and Jaime's time.
As La Dama a mob underworld (Kingpin like) rival to Kord industries.
And finally revealed as the cosmic threat preparing Earth for the Reach, that now Jaime must fight.
Nod to poster El_Gato who i believe first suggested Xolo as Jaime, and Salma Hayek as La Damma for the main villain!

If we're doing any time period, then for the early 2000s:

    Ryan Reynolds as Flash
    Will Smith as Green Lantern
    Lynn Collins as Wonder Woman
    Christian Bale as Batman
    Hugh Jackman as Superman

I did the below line up a couple of years ago, based on the story "What's So Funny About Truth, Justice & the American Way?" (It made for a fun animated movie!).
I thought if it while reading this thread, as i had cast Brandon Routh as Supes, long before his upcoming turn playing KC Supes in the upcoming CW Crisis crossover.

Funny thing is I thought Superman Returns should have been an adaptation of Superman versus the elite/"Whatever happened to Truth, Justice, and the American way".

I think that story needs some major retooling before it'd ever work, since the Superman who treats Never Ever Killing axiomatically in that story definitely had killed (Zod, Doomsday, Henshaw, etc.) and would kill again (other Zod, Imperiex, more Doomsday, etc.) and justifiably so.

But that said, I'd watch an adaptation of it with the cast posted there.

Me, I'd like a Superman and Supergirl movie with George Reeves from the '50s, and Helen Slater from the '80s. And Teri Hatcher as Lois Lane, co-starring Lyle Talbot as Luthor.

Yeah, you heard me, we're getting time travel up in here!

Daniel Sharman (6'2", 33yo) would be a great Superman, and he's about the same height and age as Robert Pattinson (6'1", 33yo).

Michael B. Jordan as GL (6'0", 32yo), Logan Lerman as Flash (5'9", 27yo) and Alicia Vikander (5'6",31yo) as Wonder Woman.

I'd use Kurt Russell or James Brolin for KC Bruce and Ed Harris has the perfect shape / frame of the Riddler. Face and body

For a Flash movie or TV series starring Wally West my dream cast would be:

    Sam Claflin as Wally West
    Adeline Rudolph as Linda Park
    Michael Fassbender as Hunter Zolomon
    Rachel Weisz as Iris West
    Brad Pitt as Barry Allen
    Jason Ralph as Hartley Rathaway
    Kyle McLachlan as Jay Garrick
    Josh Brolin(Voice) as Gorilla Grodd

Also just for shits and gigs, if I had to cast an aged up version of the twins it'd be Kelsey Chow as Irey West and Ludi Lin as Jai West.
