Stan's first published work, the text story "Captain America Foils the Traitor's Revenge", which contains the first mention of Cap throwing his shield as a weapon.

My first Marvel comic, and my first exposure to the work of Stan Lee. Literally changed the course my life would take. Cover dated March of 1969, but it was probably out three months earlier. So I would have been eight.
