Going with Abe I love that FM cover, its colors, its layout and text, and how Stan promoted the Marvel artists

All the covers were great. Hon. mentions to Kirby101 and foxley

There are so many wonderful examples I have a hard time just choosing one but I'm going with the one that shows Stan the Storyteller

    TAMI

Isn't that a Skottie Young cover?

Never saw that variant with Stan reading the riot act to Hydra Cap. That one made me laugh. Good one WestPhilly!

Wow. Congratulations to Kirby101 for a Marvelous cover which asks us all "What If?" The fun inherent in that cover gave us an idea of what the early days of the Marvel Bullpen might have been like. I guess posting the only known Stan Lee butt shot isn't what we were looking for. Seriously, though, the cover was different in that is wasn't as honoring as many of the others. It was early enough in Stan's career that even though we appreciated his role in Marvel, he hadn't yet achieved God-like status. And let's be honest, if anyone could truly treat Stan as an equal, it was Jack Kirby.

And what has the captain learned this week? He has seen many appearances of Stan on many Marvel covers. Stan was the face of Marvel Comics and I doubt many of us would be here or otherwise involved in the hobby if it wasn't for him. Thank you, Stan, for a big part of my life.
