Attaching specific numbers of years to spans of comic time is the worst and I hate it when the books do it. My wall hasn't recovered from the head bashing I gave it when Runaways did this last year.

FF's didn't bother me because they were off-universe and their time moved differently.

Yes. Though the time since Secret Wars was already basically more than usual since they added a '8 months later' jump, so that also didn't really matter to me as I already figured it had been about a year in-universe anyways. Originally Posted by Harpsikord

You have to realize how slowly their time is moving. We usually only see their adventures once a month. Some of these stories only cover a few hours in an issue. With the added time jumps, I would have said it's only been 3 years since 2001, so 2 years since 2004 isn't too insane to me. (One year for Morrison era. One year for Utopia era. Why was that insane. Runaways launched back in 2003. Are you upset that 2 years seems like too much time or too little? I personally feel like more than 2 years should have passed but its not that far off from what I expect Originally Posted by Snoop Dogg
And three years didnt pass from SW to now. The FF spent 3 years outside of the MU and I think that line was stated to account for the kids aging. A little over a year actually passed in the MU

The big problem is that Marvel did two eight month timeskips back to back. Also Captain Marvel recently did a timeskip of similar length.
