I think the reveal at the end was rather fun. I just don't think this book was worth $9.
Agreed! Plus his astonishing is good.

I read EVERYTHING Marvel publishes at the moment, because I'm a fanatic (I'm also trying to read all of 616 chronologically, and I'm up to 1954). A lot of it I would not pay a nickel for.

Maybe at the end of disassemble all the xmen die and get transported in to a beautiful and utopian reality called age of x. Cyclops gets resurrected after extermination and now in the real world sees all the xmen dead.

I'm really hoping this is Scott coming back. It just doesn't feel like the x-books without him

Cyclops in his old, tacky condom suit looking distraught among the ruins of the school as the specter of the 90's is literally hanging over his head says more about the state of this franchise and my feelings on it now than I can express with my own words.

And so the end had its own beginning, when the reaper known as ROSENBERG came to see the living, riding a white stallion known as PHOENIX RESURRECTION. Mankind's final prophet, BUNN, was executed via the guillotine known as EXTERMINATION. And now the reaper reveals his scythe. The blade which will utter the final death cry. THE 90'S. This is the fate and destiny of the X-MEN, as foretold by the wise man CLAREMONT.

Wouldn't it be downright hilarious if Rosenberg decided to reset everything back to the 90s?

All the New X-Men will disappear, all the events which have happened since then will be ignored.

You guys have been wasting money buying all these years. LOL

Well, that was already the whole premise of X-Men Gold.

So happy for Cyclops to return.

Some speculation based on the cover and what is known about uncanny disassembled and age of x-man. I thought it looked like cyclops optic blast that Bishop is absorbing on one of the covers (I posted this in bishop appreciation thread). Maybe I was right. And further speculation, maybe the age of x-man stuff takes place somewhere else (world, reality) with the 616 characters changed and gone, leaving a returned cyclops with not many x-men to choose from. Is he at the mansion remembering the early 90s ? Idk I’m posting from work and can’t dedicate much time now to this thought.
