Default Collections we might NEVER see?

I was at a flea market yesterday and bought a 1970s Whitman Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids comic. The stories all featured intros and Outros by Bill Cosby.
Given Bill's fall from grace I don't think We'll ever see this collected.

I wonder about Steve Ditko's self published stuff (MR A/ Avenging world etc.), Alan Moore's rock newspaper cartoons, and English translation of Urasawa's early manga (Happy, Yuwara! and Pineapple army)....

    What else WONT we see?

Emerald Dawn 1 and 2. I was a teen when these came out, and loved each series. But then the author of both had to start getting into child pornography and that ended that...

Thanks for your reply. Is it possible for DC for reprint these minus the author's name and " Green Lantern created by Gardner Fox (?) and Gil Kane" perhaps?

Are there other scandal plagued writers and artists? In Australia we had a cowboy comic called the Lone Avenger in the 1950's . The creator was a violent sexual predator with a history of assaults, murders and an attack on a singer entertaining the inmates at a special prison concert. Wont be seeing THOSE Collected either!

At least one of the DC/Subway comic inserts featured Jared, the disgraced former spokesman of Subway. Safe to say we can add that to the list.

On the other hand, I can see insensitive material from the Golden Age eventually being reprinted, with a carefully crafted note explaining that whatever the material contains does not represent current views. So in my mind I'll leave that stuff off the list. (Yes, I know DC recently cancelled the planned reprints of Detective Comics #1-26.)

Emerald Dawn I & II were actually collected last year:

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1401265758/

Jones only scripted Keith Giffen's plot on most of the Emerald Dawn issues anyway, it's the ongoing Green Lantern series that he fully wrote which we're unlikely to see in the near future (if at all).

Thanks for clarifying...I had no idea they collected this so recently.

GL (1990) ongoing #1-12 would have been in Green Lantern: Hal Jordan Vol. 2, which was only a few weeks away from release before the whole Jones scandal broke.

I have a feeling his situation is what's keeping a second Justice League International omnibus from being released as well; a good chunk of those issues would presumably be the JLE one's that he co-wrote.

I agree about the Ultraverse material and yes a good deal of it would be nice to have.
Books tied to shady/questionable/legally guilty folks aside there are a a few titles I think we'll not see just for the sake of interest. Well, enough interest to justify doing them....then again, fare like Marvel Firsts 90s and Marvel NOW got printed. Logic may not apply to this discussion.

A pure Blade Omni. Collecting his ToD appearances and other era appropriate appearances.
    New Warriors vol.2
Sensational She-Hulk by Byrne (2 volumes could complete that)
    Alpha Flight vol.2
    Incredible Hulk vol. 2
    Deathlok Omni
    Sleepwalker Omni
    Darkhawk Omni
Hellstrom Omni that collects the first half of Prince of Lies(Ellis Omni)
Ghost Rider, Johnny Blaze Omni(Bronze Age run)
    Ghost Rider, Danny Ketch Omni
    Quasar Omni
Punisher vol.2 (Edge imprint, aka demon guns) Omni

For starters. I think anything Spider-man, Avengers, X-Men and Daredevil are always likely to get printed. Even what seems orphaned now.
Web of Spider-man...sure, one day maybe, it's Spider-man.
"Freedom is the right of all sentient beings" - Optimus Prime

You should check amazon She-Hulk vol 2 and 4 vol.s of Alpha Flight been out including an AF omnibus. Pretty much anything John Byrne has done has been collected.
