Scenario: Blade (Earth-616) and Kraven (Earth-616) fight in the Bronx in the daylight starting 100 feet apart on the open streets. No prep time, standard equipment. Who comes out as the King of the Hunt?

I kind of feel for Blade. He has such a cool design and concept but historically was basically just another peak human.

I’d write him being more metahuman if given the chance. Vampirism should give you a leg up on super-soldiers. There should be a difference between superhuman and supernatural.

But unless he’s had a serious upgrade Kraven clubs him.

Lol. Honestly that scene felt more like aim dodging than bullet timing though.

Haha, yeah looks quite similar. So what do you guys think about this battle? I could see it being close, both fighters seem to have some advantages over the others. Blade seems to have the physical advantages in this fight, but Kraven seems to have more high profile fights under his belt and seems to be more adaptable in combat.

I honestly cannot think of a single strength feat of Kraven besides fighting strong people and beating up animals, but that's good enough. He's a Spiderman peer. Same for his durabilkty and especially for hjs endurqnce.

Blades onlt advantage is guns, but kraven has to be a BT or his bouts with spidey make no sense.

The speed thing could be PIS for Kraven versus Peter.

He HAS feats that show he's ridiculously fast. But he doesn't have the kind of explicit speed feats that Peter has. I'm extremely leery of giving him speed on Peter's level; it's not how things work, here.

I've zero problems with him being strong enough to hurt people like Peter, and tough enough to take hits from Peter. That kind of thing doesn't normally get punched around with the PIS glove. But speed is something that does, all the time, so it gets looked at more scrupulously. Or should be.

And Kraven, despite having fights against Matt, Peter, and other fast people, doesn't have the feats. He has SOME feats that are pretty darned good. So we should judge him on those feats.

He doesn't absolutely push Peter to the limits of his speed, either, in their fights (like the Lizard does), so we can't even look at that as a notation of it not being PIS.

The one semi-explicit speed exception for Kraven: he was challenged by Ben Reilly (Scarlet Spider), who is explicitly faster and stronger than Peter, but lacks Spider Sense. Kraven moves so quickly that Ben can't see it, and slashes Ben's throat effortlessly, KILLING him.

But of course, they were trying to establish Kraven as a badass with that scene, and it doesn't necessarily track with the rest of his everything.

Yeah, I forgot that can be considered. I guess I was figuring that Kraven is more like Lizard. By that, I mean when he's battling spidey we get mentions from spidey how wicked fast he is and so on. Kraven daughter got the same blah blah and was giving spidey trouble. It's just what he does. On the other hand, I dont think green goblin ever gets any mention about speed and in thise cases its just pis (spidey niot using it) Anyway, I get the point you're making.

What actual speed feats does kraven even have besides fights? He's like superior to animals...
