Thanks for the info. I've been holding out on the DK Metal books because I like the softcover trades better than the hardcovers; they take up less space and they're cheaper.

King didn't mention further fill-in issues as part of his 100 issue run, which means that things are not going according to plan. Now I wonder, does this mean that he will bump back his story 2 issues (which makes sense) or rewrite to cut back down so that his climax still lands at the #75 mark since he seems to only want to have things happen in nicely-numbered issues.
It's the Dynamic Duo! Batman and Robin!... and Red Robin and Red Hood and Nightwing and Batwoman and Batgirl and Orphan and Spoiler and Bluebird and Lark and Gotham Girl and Talon and Batwing and Huntress and Azreal and Flamebird and Batcow?

Since when could just anybody do what we trained to do? It makes it all dumb instead of special. Like it doesn't matter anymore.

    Cormorant, huh?

Looks like he may be a bit different from the version I remember (first seen in Detective Comics #491 from June 1980).

(And why an election-related story in February? )

There are rumors (or maybe straight up comments from creators?) that Heroes in Crisis will be longer than originally planned. This just might be a skip month to let King catch up. I'd bet he just goes to 105.

    Thoughts:

    - Damian looks weird on that Super Sons book cover.

    - Cormorant looks like discount Midnighter.

    - I've enjoyed Williamson writing Batman before so I'm interested to see what he does here. The solicit does remind me a bit too much of Identity Crisis.

    - I remember Catwoman's past tussles with Penguin, so it should be interesting to see where Jones takes it.

    - Figures Tomasi would bring back the Hellbat suit. And Etrigan! Nice .

    - Can we even still call Harley the "Clown Princess of Crime" if she's not really a Supervillain any more?

    - Was anyone asking for the return of the Joker's daughter? Probably the same amount of people who were hoping for something like "Ric" for Nightwing...

Making a crossover event and money about Wally's death on top of Heroes in Crisis while I have to stop reading about Wally or Dick because that's the story they choose to tell.
It's like this company is deliberately designed to make me don't want to read their books.
I mean the initial reason I stopped reading is because I'm not satisfied with how they handle continuity, though I acknowledge the difficulty of doing that while managing multiple teams, crossovers and years of history, so I'm willing to reconsider my stance, but even beyond that they keep adding reasons why I won't come back.

well I am not sure how to feel that king didn't collaborate with Joshua on this arc as I had enjoyed the button storyline and it was one of the few times that king had hit all the right notes( Batman having a heartfelt meeting with flashpoint Batman and FBs entreaty to Bruce to find happiness and his choosing to go out in a 'flash' of entropy rather than accompanying them denoting acceptance of his fate.)
However I had liked Joshua's handling of Batman also as he had delivered quite a perfect rendition of his and Barry's interaction( flash saying Batman would make a excellent cop after him correctly gauging his emotional state/ bruce understanding that he was keeping something from him from his body language) so perhaps it's for the best but does this mean that the crossover will be its own thing and king will ignore it completely? on another note the clown brigade is coming back to the fore with a vengeance. wonder if it's all in an effort to whet appetites for the three joker's storyline.

Events had been the reason why I've grown disinterested in Marvel comics as a whole twice. Too many events that break and disturb the stories I choose to read, not cool.
