Well, that's better clarification. Now I'm hoping this film has the balls to feature more than two Robins.

That is a very good thing.

I'm hoping that they'll get James Woods to voice Owlman again. He was fantastic in Crisis on Two Earths.

"Batman Vs. Robin" appears to be loosely based on the well-received DC Comics' storyline "Batman: The Court of the Owls," by Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo.

    eh?

ok, I like the idea of adapting Court of Owls but that story had nothing to do with Batman fighting against Robin
    so

    ...
    eh?

Oh and in other misreported news, Batman vs Robin is NOT an adaptation of The Court of Owls storyline. Sheesh

I did wonder if they'd cocked up in the article.

    So... DickBats?

It's possible, since Nightwing was added in the last movie.

But they'd have to "kill" Bruce, and I dunno if they can do all that in one movie.

Maybe they'll use elements from Born to Kill? (If memory serves, I think Bruce and Dams brawled in that)

I agree with Kid A no way can they kill Bruce then go through the whole battle of cowl mess (although they can probably skip that) and then have Nightwing establish as Bats. That would take at least an hour, to do it properly.

Admittedly, I'd be curious to see someone else's cleaned up version of Battle for the Cowl. There's a lot of potential there.

I wouldn't someone writing screen play for a movie that combines Arkham War and Battle for the Cowl properly with DickBats leading the good guys and Batbane leading the bad guys. Ofcourse this is too much to ask for,but after the actually smart Assault on Arkham my faith has been restored.

The only way we'll get DickBats is if Justice League: Gods And Monsters comes out first and "kills" Bruce at the end - otherwise there's just no reason to do it, especially now they're all in the same continuity.

That's what I thought, I figured it might be New Gods related when I heard the title.

Batman and Son was right up there with Superman/Doomsday as the worst DC animated movie so hopefully this one will be better. Really lost faith in James Tucker.
Sooooo happy to hear Timm will be coming back for a new project!

Although I hear that Assault on Arkham is pretty darn good.

    The other tweet from Tucker:

"So of course my announcement about BT doing JL: Gods and Monsters gets misreported. Sam Liu is Directing and Alan Burnett wrote it." Not sure if BT is still involved.

Also, ToA is the other in-continuty film for that year, think people may have forgot this.
