Marvel brings back Conan The Barbarian in January. It was a young Kirby101 who after reading Conan #1 started his long descent into comic book collecting and Marvel Zombiehood. Within a year he was reading every Marvel comic published and a few DCs as well. In recognition of the Cimmerian's return to his comic origins, this weeks contest is Marvel's (and only Marvel's) Conan The Barbarian (and only the "The Barbarian" book, no King or Savage Sword) You have 275 issues to choose from plus a dozen Annuals, so the restrictions shouldn't impair anyone from finding worthy covers.
Here is that cover that launched my life in this hobby.
The Rules:
Post one (and only one) cover that fits the theme of this week's contest.
Cover must be from a published comic book or collected volume.
Covers must be posted before voting begins.
Voting begins 12 AM Tuesday and runs until 12 AM Wednesday PST.
Vote by posting the name in bold of the poster whose cover best fits the theme or that you simply like the most.
The winner of the contest is the entrant with the most votes after the voting period.
It's okay to discuss the covers but if you think someone's entry doesn't fit the theme or violates the rules, you don't need to argue it in the thread, simply don't vote for it.

This was my intro to Conan, gotten in a polybagged 3-pack of Marvel books. I have been a massive Conan fan ever since...
