Congratulations to worstblogever for a Marvelous cover which shows us the power of John Buscema's art in crawling out from the large shadow of Barry Windsor-Smith. My take on the dialogue is Conan asking, "what does a skeleton need with a cape?" But that's just me.

And for what the captain has learned this week, he had gone into this expecting a stream of Barry Smith covers and people rolling a die to select a winner. But it seems the joke won it this week. He thinks about this and the captain says, "I joke quite often and rarely win, with a joke." The response is usually, "But the jokes that win are actually funny." Who knew?

And thanks to SuperCooper for the vote. A love for the different brings us together.
