Didn't the team in Tec have Batgirl instead of Signal? Could that have something to do with it?

I remember the team doesn't have Signal in Tec, because Duke was hurt. Also, Batgirl leaves the group at the end of this (she had some conflicts with Batman). Originally Posted by Digifiend

Batgirl (Barbara Gordon) was working with Black Lightning and Orphan on Tec (when Duke was injured).
That's probably the doubt of Dignified.

Duke got injured/fridge out the gate and Barbara was helping out; I think they just needed someone to explain Batman to Black Lightning. The actual team didn't form until the end of the arc when Katana comes into the fold and by then Barbara dipped and they let Duke back in the field. Originally Posted by Digifiend

Unfortunate, Bryan Hill tweeted about wanting to make sure they launch the book right, because they only get one chance. So if the delay is to make sure the the story is better, I don't mind.

You don't delay a book when everyone else is putting out better material that could take potential readers away. Or when your competition is about to brow beat everyone with Wolverine and X-Men stuff for the next 6 months.
One chance??? If they have that low of an opinion of the team-how about another arc in Detective? Or a mini? So a team with Batman, BL who has a SHOW & Katanna, DC's top selling at one time female of color (Cass) and DC's top selling male of color (Duke)-only gets one shot? That is not a team of chumps.
