Not canceled, just getting derailed due to some DC event

So, the delayed is because an event.

I still suspect a relaunch for the Batline after that event.

I don't think he meant "event " as how you're thinking it

I'm wondering why they didn't start the series directly after the "backdoor-pilot" in TEC.

If they have now 3 month after that, still need to adjust things, thats sounds like really poor planing from the Batoffice.

    Or poor planning from DC.
Look at how much crap is coming out between them and Marvel and even Image, IDW & Valiant.

    When is a good time?

How many budgets of fans will be derailed by Detective Comics #1000 and all those eventual variant covers and bloated price tag? Not to mention Bendi's stuff or the eventual return of Wolverine.
Along with Into The Spiderverse tie ins.

Who else would be hitting a number milestone? If Marvel cheats Black Panther could hit 200 in 2019 instead 2020. Miles isn't too far from 150. Shazam could hit 100 if he gets a series again.

Question will be who is willing to bypass those projects to buy this? So where is the best opening for this book?

with all the hype over young justice outsiders, it sure is a shame this is delayed. DC could have cross promoted this new comic with that show.

They don't resemble each other though, same with the YJ comic.

I mean..of course they don't look alike lol. I just meant DC could cross promote the Outsiders name. It doesn't matter either way since it's delayed though.

Well for some folks spending more than $20 on books a week or month is much.

So it depends on one's budget.

I know for me a choice between Outsiders or Static-is not even a contest.

Same with Outsiders and a LOT of books I buy.

And with the way Heroes in Crisis is going-buying a DC book PERIOD-is looking bleaker and bleaker.

Because I don't want to waste my money on supporting characters who certain folks don't care for. Who could end up like those guys in HIC.

Looking at that book and seeing whose dead-all I could picture was John Stewart, Cassandra, Duke, Stephanie & Tim all laying there.

Is that why the book is delayed? Since it has someone who is NOT popular among the head of DC?

Is she making a visit? Or Duke? Katanna?

Since we don't know when all this happens. Because a few DC books seem to be suffering from editor issues (hi Titans).
