Listing three titles when the question is
What is your DC comic book run of the year?
seems like cheating unless you clarify which one of those three would be most deserving of that honor.

    Just sayin' . . .

Mister Miracle! Best comic I’ve read in years.

The Terrifics has also been really fun.

Shade, the Changing Woman easily. Shade, the Changing Girl/Woman has been one of my favorite comics in forever.

Lots of great stuff came out this year, too.

It's impossible for me to choose just one. I will for the sake of the exercise -- and so MajorHoy doesn't ding me on the rules -- but my answer would change depending on when I'm asked because these series' are so close to one another in my love for them. I'm reading less than half of what DC's publishing lately but what I'm reading ranks with any era of DC Comics IMO.

Mister Miracle gets the gold ring today. It edges out the others because it has the distinction of being finished (magnificently) and every single issue blew me away.

In essence Mister Miracle is in a four-way tie for me with Doomsday Clock, King's Batman, and Russell's Exit Stage Left: The Snagglepuss Chronicles. Each of those four series' feel like masterpieces to me. Honorable mentions to Scott Snyder and team for making Justice League a total must-read for the first time in a dog's age and to Way/Derington for a Doom Patrol that stands up next to Morrison's (if only there were MORE of it!).

I'm also going with "The Terrifics." It has been a great book.

What was my favorite run of the year?

Let's see... the only ongoing I followed all year was Batman, and... not that.
I've read the first two issues of Heroes in Crisis and... not that either.
I've read the first issue of the Green Lantern but cannot give series of the year to a single issue.

So Mister Miracle is my book of the year. Without competition.
It's the Dynamic Duo! Batman and Robin!... and Red Robin and Red Hood and Nightwing and Batwoman and Batgirl and Orphan and Spoiler and Bluebird and Lark and Gotham Girl and Talon and Batwing and Huntress and Azreal and Flamebird and Batcow?

Since when could just anybody do what we trained to do? It makes it all dumb instead of special. Like it doesn't matter anymore.

    Mister Miracle- 6
    Doomsday Clock- 3
    Terrifics-2
    Super Sons- 1
    Aqua Man-1
    Detective Comics-1
    Red Hood and the Outlaws-1
    Batgirl-1
Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps-1
    Shade the Changing Woman-1

seems to be the tally right now, i only tallied the one choice ones, i will go back and do a tally including the multiple answers, but please try and choose one even if its hard to do so

    Probably Doomsday Clock
The only book I want to read immediately after his release.

Same here. DC really went down hill this year. But if I had to pick one I would say the couple of issues of Justice League Dark that came out. Great writing and great art.
My name is Wally West. I"m the fastest man alive. I"m the Flash.

    Favorite Heroes - 1-Flash/Wally West, 2-Superman, 3-Green Lantern/Hal Jordan, 4-Nightwing, 5-Hawkman, 6-Firestorm, 7-Supergirl/Linda Danvers, 8-Zatanna, 9-Robin/Tim Drake
