Moonshine
While it was fairly "Low Key" and not a reader grabber, it was particularly well done and didn't go anything like I thought it was going to.
Kill or be Killed
I don't have much to add that hasn't been said, but:
Finished series: Kill or be Killed (worth mentioning the My Heroes Have Always Been Junkies graphic novel as well, also by Brubaker/Philips)
New 2018 series: Gideon Falls (honorable mention in Oblivion Song - some really interesting world building here with a big promise, making me curious to see where this goes)
Brand new series to watch: Die - written by Kieron Gillen, I assume this is meant to be his next big project now that WicDiv is starting to wrap up. Without spoiling anything, I was honestly drawn in from the initial description calling it "gothic Dungeons & Dragons meets Jumanji". Only one issue out so far, but it's definitely something I plan to stick with for at least the first full arc, and hopefully beyond that.
Horizon owned 2018 for me. That always went to the top of the pile.
For 2019, it is shaping up to be Die (lord there isn't enough that can be said about this...) and Outer Darkness
Gideon Falls is great.
Oblivion Song is good too, though I worry Kirkman will run out of steam like he did with Outcast.
I read one from Image:
Deadly Class.
Deadly Class by default. xd

I am committed to the idea that any work of art should be judged on its own merit, not on the behavior or beliefs of its author.
In no particular order, Rose, Oblivion Song, Last Siege, Ice Cream Man, and sad to see Descender end it run-but looking forward to Ascender next year.
Just picked up Die #3. Kieron Gillen and Stephanie Hans are killing it in this series. The art is absolutely haunting. Totally worth checking out.
