Great preview. I know Old Man Logan has been living on borrowed time for a while now, especially with the mainline Wolverine coming back. But he has proven his worth time and again. I'll be sad to see him go and I hope he goes out in a great way.

Yeah, Mike's great. Really good match for Woodard, too. Beautiful pages.

Looks nice. Even though I dislike Marvel's use of all the Wolverine characters, I'll try to catch up to Brisson's OML to better appreciate this.

Thanks for the preview Nosocialize! Nice art by Mike Henderson, I have to admit I would have prefered to have the Old Man Logan story ends with the fight with the Maestro but who knows, Brisson said that Dead Man Logan was always the endgame so it could be interesting. I just hope the pacing will be better than in the last arcs of the Old Man Logan series.

Also it looks like Forge is going to find Maestro's broken time machine, so with any luck he will repair it and once Logan dealt with Mysterio he's going to finish his adventures in his universe

Definetly agreed with everyone here, Henderson is doing a great job. I'm not terribly interested in this story, but i hope that is a satisfying closure for the characther.

Art looks really great , loved how Henderson orchestrated the splash page . I kinda of recall the same thing what Sorrentino did during the first issue of OML . Assuredly this type of art is going to be consistent given DML is monthly . I wasn't really interested in this story cause's OML has been dragged imo . But maxi series never gave me a bad impression .

I'm just glad to see Cecilia didn't become mincemeat in Extermination. Which makes her absence in Uncanny x-Men all the more glaring.

You should. It was a really great run.

I guess it’s time for him to go, but I’m really going to miss this version of Logan. He’s honestly my favorite version, and harkens back to when I really used to love Wolverine growing up. I got into him in the 90s, but went back and read all of the Claremont/Buscema stuff from the late 80s and then the Larry Hama run. That’s when Logan was best IMO. He was grounded and it took hours or even days to heal from injuries, not seconds.

Makes me wish Marvel had gone a different route in terms of “movie synergy” with the Logan film that came out a couple of years ago, and instead of bringing OML over after Secret Wars instead just resurrected the real one but made it so his healing factor was diminished and as a result he looked a little older. Give him the DoFP silver temples or even go full gray like OML, but not all wrinkly and ancient looking. More importantly, with the diminished healing factor he could’ve walked away from being The Wolverine for awhile and Laura still could’ve taken up the mantle in the same way. Ultimately he comes back to claim it, as he’s doing now that the real deal is being resurrected. But IMO all of this could’ve played out the same way with the OG version, and we could’ve gotten this more weathered and grounded version of Logan but with the real deal all along. And thus could’ve kept him that way!

*sigh*... one can dream I suppose ...

Yeah, I prefer Old Man Logan to 616 as well. It's a shame he's going.

But with the success of Old Man Hawkeye and the upcoming Old Man Quill (and potential Old Man Frank) we'll at least get to see the old man in flashbacks and such.
DC, please give Jonah Hex a new solo.

Just read this issue. It was an overall solid issue. I really enjoyed it. Old Man Logan has done a lot of great things since he showed up after Secret Wars, but I think his story is nearing its necessary end. And this issue did a nice job of setting up his final journey.

Yes that was much more fun than I expected. Young Hawkeye is a great foil to Old Man Logan. I like the idea that the existence of OML is giving certain villains the idea that they can band together and take over the world. Although I'm not 100% certain that OML will actually die at the end of this mini-series. I have a final episode of "Dexter" feeling that OML will be sitting in the Wastelands watching the sun set/rise on the final panel of DML#12.

I liked this and I'll miss OML. Happy to see Miss Sinister is involved, she's always fun.
