I'm starting to think Ross Geller is a co-writer as well.

Can Bishop and Iceman have their own buddy-cop type mini-series? Please?

Ok, Bishop being coldly polite to the protestor and his banter with Bobby was actually kinda funny.

The protester's face is what really sold it for me, amazing.

The art looks gorgeous, and I hope we find stuff out this issue.

Also, was it ever said where the Jean and Storm backup story from #1 would be concluded? I don't remember seeing where.

That scene with the protester actually showcases one of the main problems I have with this series so far. It's all just... thrown out there with no context. Did we have any sign that the protests where happening in places other than the institute in issue #2? Why is the population so pissed off about this in comparison to other X-related tragedies in recent history? Was anyone still at the lab? Was there any casualities? etc.

The Storm et al page is beautiful... but weren't they completely overwhelmed last issue?
    Bishop vs Protester Man? Awesome.
That there were protesters there at all? Out of nowhere.

In a single day, the X-Men dropped a jet on a lab, without minding casualties and kidnapped a senator in front of cameras. Of course people are extra pissed all over the country. And the X-Man/Legion thing will certainly make it worse and the team won't be around to fix it, so Cyclops and Wolverine will have to deal with it.

This looks the best so far! Love the gift sequences against the dinosaurs, and Bishop saving the mutant protestors. Also... finally good to see Jubilee doing a useful share of help in these fights against the dupes. The past few issues only had her taking on one Jamie at a time. Four at once in this preview panel is a good start. She’s more powerful, smart on her toes, and capable than some writers show. Her powers are very diverse and can be used for great crowd control, detonating nearby hazards, charging her punches with energy, burning/scalding, and not to forget her gymnastics prowess among other feats. This one panel is a good start.

Looks good. I like this team. Hope they keep it intact with Scott and Logan coming back. Give those two their own team with some other characters. I could get behind Uncanny twice a month and adjectiveless twice a month with a different squad.

    Looks good.

I miss the old Whilce Portacio design for Bishop. Everyone seems to draw him kinda dough-faced now.

It also just occurred to me that we're supposed to be picturing dinosaurs with some degree of feathers now, right? Have we not integrated that concept at Marvel yet? Its been a while since I was in school, but I'm sure its a thing.

I really wish this book had launched with a full slate of top tier artists
