Wow really liked it, they seem to be doing something different with Scar so I'll wait and see there. But everything else I liked. Still didnt really see the animals talking much but Timone and Pumba singing at the end looked good. Though seth Rogans voice even singing is distracting lol. But as far as CGI it's amazing feels like I'm watching a nature documentary in certain scenes.

But yea Scar doesnt just look like a jealous brother, he looks dirty and starved. So they might be trying to make Scar more sympathetic maybe hes been seriously mistreated and no just power hungry.

I dunno. The CG doesn't look bad but it just feels weird to see them doing a faithful adaption of Lion King with realistic CG animals. Something just feels off .

On the positive side, Chiwetel Ejiofor sounds perfect as Scar.

Yeah, he really seems to nail the spirit of the character and sounds right for the part, even if Jeremy Irons is still the defining actor for the role.

I've seen a lot of people online having issues with Scar's appearance...not sure how many brown haired, black maned lions they have seen in real life? I think they did a great job and he looks rather villainous.

there are in fact dark maned lions in the wild not many but ther out there.

Well, Indian lions have black manes. But this isn't India.

So it's almost shot by shot like batb with some parts removed and the real look of the animals hurting the film because the animals have less emotion then the 90s movie. Ouch!
